Our Kin named a Daniel, Levi and John Sr., also but Daniel Jr.’s marriage certificate names his father and David and his mother as Margret. (and I have a copy) So we removed from the order of Our Kin. Is it possible that they are David "Stiffs" brothers?

his parents aren't listed on his marriage certificate--which I have a copy. I entered this information with David "Stiff's" son John 13165. The Carpenter family claims that their John C. Costner b 1788 (13031) married Barbara Mary Carpenter not Barbary Kiser as in Our Kin. David "Stiffs" son John was probably the John Costner who was the bondsman for Levi 1828, Mary Ann 1828, and Elizabeth 1827 at that time a bond was 500 pounds lawful money of the state--see Marriage Bonds of Tryon and Lincoln Counties by Curtis Bynum--in 1788 provision was made for Banns marriages (published 3 times by any minister of the gospel) but I haven't found any record of this kind of marriage in these counties, even though I know a lady who found some in Raleigh.
