Dear Wendy,
I am descended from Matilda Coster b 04 Jan 1851,who married Charles Town and they with their little son Charlie emigrated to NZ c 1872, settling in Mataura. Some of Matilda's family owned a lignite mine in Mataura.
I believe that we might be researching the same family. If so I would be interested to hear from you.
