Thankyou Peter Timber,
All of the suggestions you made are very good, But unfortunately the only things I know are when my grandmother, father , aunt and uncle came to the USA and that my father was born in San Jose. All of those that could fill in gaps for me have passed on. On my grandfathers death certificate it said he was also born in San Jose and that his fathers name was August Hameier. His mothers name is Unknown. Thank you any way i will try to find out more with your suggestions. I was just hopping that someone would have a family story in their history that involves a family from Costa Rica named Hameier.
