Elizabeth Stone (b. 1788 or 1789; d. 9/20/1841; m. George Guier in Phila.) had two sons who headed for the gold fields of California but fell in love with the beauties of Costa Rica en route and settled there. To find Elizabeth's Stone/Stein/Stine line it would help to have names and dates for the children of the following couples: (1) John and Mary Stone (he of the will dated 3/17/1806); (2) Leonard Stone and Rachel Douglass (m. 4/30/1774); (3) Jacob Stein and Maria Rupp (m. 12/14/1784); (4) John Stone and Elizabeth Weiss (m. 1/16/1808; mamacita Elizabeth Stone may have acquired her last name as a widow since she bore her six Guier children starting in 1819 at the age of 31.) Information on Elizabeth or any other details about the first ancestors of the Costa Rican Guiers would be appreciated. If you are interested in what I know you have but to ask.
