Although I have no info for you, you may have info to help me. My great grandfather, Jeremiah O'Leary, was a ship's doctor employed by UFC. Although from New York, he married a Costa Rican, Mercedes Ramirez Castro. This side of the family was completely lost. Similiar circumstances as yours. I wonder if you have found any good sources of info? Jeremiah's son ended up in Cuba where I was born.
