Looking for Frances da COSTA SOARES he was born abt 1864 in Pico da Pedra, St. Miguel, AZORES. He married Rosa de JESUS in abt 1880's in St. Miguel. She was born abt 1868 in St. Miguel also. They had the following son, Antonio Da COSTA SOARES on Jan 6, 1884 in Calhetas, St. Miguel, Azores.
SECOND GENERATION
Antonio Da COSTA married Maria "Mary" BRANCO in abt 1904 in St. Miguel. She was born Apr 23, 1889 in Pico da Pedra, St. Miguel, Azores. She lived in Brazil for 18 years then returned to St. Miguel. Antonio and Maria had the following children; Joseph-1907, Maria-1909, Emily-1911, Elvira-1912, Mabel-1915, Mary-1918, Arthur-1920, Dorothy-1923, Hilda-1925, Irene-1929 and Raymond-1934.
The first seven children were born in Pico Da Pedra, St. Miguel, Azores. Antonio then moved his family to the USA and settled in West Warwick, RI were the last four children were born. Antonio died Sep 8, 1947 in Providence, RI. Mary had preceded him on Jan 21, 1945 in West Warwick, RI. Mary's parents were Mariono da Branco and Engracia da Costa Branco, both from Calhetas, St. Miguel, Azores.
