I am descended from Cossaboom from Cumberland co., N. Jersey area. I've always been told that Cossaboom is Dutch, and I believe we come from a Dutch family named Karsaboom that settled in NYC area in the 1600s, then came down to N. Jersey in later years. Don't think anyone has ever been able to prove it tho'.
