Hello, I am new at this whole geneaology thing, but I thought this might be a good place to start. I am looking basically, for the origin of the Coss name. Oral tradition in my family, who come from Ohio, say that we originated from Scotland, however I am not sure. That is what I am looking for. THis might sound wierd, but I have an odd affinity to the Celtic culture, and I am searching to see if it might have something to do with my family history. My father is named Tom Coss, though he was born in 1954. There could have been someone he was named after....
