my 3rd Gt Grandmother was Jean (Jane) Coase, born Torryburn Fife 7 June 1787, the youngest of seven children of Robert Coase and Janet White, the surname is also spelt Coas Coss etc., Jean Married Alexander Neilson at Abbey Parish Renfrew, in 1813. They later moved to Dunfermline, Fife.
Does anyone know anything about this family? are they connected to the family of Robert Coase and Helen Chambers
