I have a John Cosner that was born ca 1768. His parents were Philip Peter and Anna Catherina (Roth) Cosner. They immigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania in 1763. John had a brother Philip Henry that married in 1795 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I didn't find a Peter in this immediate family, so I don't know about them. It could be possible that this John is yours as well. I have no other information on him. No Rebecca appears in this family either.
