Valerie--First of all-I live on Lummi Island, WA right above Bellingham and across from Orcas Island. My father, George W. Cosman came from Kings Co., N.B.but moved to MA at the turn of the century with his older brother, Charles. The family lines trace back to the Cosmans--and at least 6 other lines-- to N.Y. and N.J. These Loyalists were evacuated from N.Y. in 1783 with the other . That family received land grants in Head of Millstream where my cousin still lives. My family has mostly stayed put--I'm very interested in finding the European roots. Were you aware of a Cosman reunion, this summer? Hope to hear from you
