Dallas Lee Coryell's 1972 genealogy

I would like to get a discussion going about the validity of Dallas Coryell's "The Coryells - An American Family and 300 Years of its History" I have not found any reason to doubt the validity of the research, but I want to hear what others have found -- especially regarding the first 4 chapters (to page 70) which discusses the first 5 generations of Coryell/Coriell family in North America.

I prefer the discussion to be public (on this forum) rather than by private email, since it can generate more participation here.
