By pure chance, I have just come across a posting made by Colleen to this Forum (back in 2003, some 5 years ago!)about Honora Cory and Thomas Lewis Morton, who were her 2x great-grandparents.
Honora had a niece(daughter of her brother Tom) who was also called Honora Cory, with who I am in contact.
My great-aunt Ann Cox married Honora senior's brother,
Tom Cory, who before marriage was working for another
Thomas Morton. He was the Curate of Fairford in
Gloucestershire, England, where the Cox family then lived and where my grandad Henry Cox, Ann's brother, was born.
That Rev. Thomas was in fact the father of the Thomas Louis (Lewis) Morton who married Honora, so there are several links here if anyone is interested.
By the way, this Cory line came orginally from Lostwithiel in Cornwall, where Tom and Honora senior's father (also Thomas) was born. The latter was a pioneer of the then-new Manitoba, and came with his family from Ontario to Gladstone with Walter Lynch's Party as one of the first settlers there in 1871.
