I have a newspaper obit of: John W Cory b. 11 Feb 1840; Courtland Co. NY; d. 22 Mar 1920 Concordia, Cloud Co. KS.
With his parents, moved to IL, then Fayette Co. Iowa. On 2 May, 1861 m. Drusilla O Harrison, Brush Creek, Iowa, who d.8 June 1916. If you think this would help, I could email the obit. (My grandmother was Ida May Cory Parker)
