I think the first 5 children were born on Long Island. I'm from California and I have never been east of Nevada, but I believe that Mattituck, Ipswich and Aquebogue are all towns on Long Island. My information comes from a variety of places. I have been researching this on and off since 1962. I got the majority of my information from the Edward Tanjore Corwin Book. I have a copy of Ezra Corwin's will that gives all the children's names. I have researched censuses. A book called the "Book of Biographies for Cortland County" also had a lot of information on Polydore Brown Corwin, and Ezra. If you want to know about a specific piece of info, let me know and I can (hopefully) provide you with the source.
