I am seeking contact with any descendant of Thomas Corwin (b. 1794) who was Governor of Ohio, Senator, Congressman, and Abraham Lincoln's minister to Mexico during the Civil War. I am finishing a book on the international dimensions of the Civil War, "One War At a Time," and would be very interested in any letters or papers relating to Corwin's mission to Mexico.
