If you have access to E. T. Corwin's standard "The Corwin Genealogy", this should put you on the track all the way back.
CHARLES LANKTON7 CORWIN (Benjamin6, Henry5, Daniel4-3, Theophilus2, Matthias1), son of Benjamin Corwin and Sarah Vail, was born on 9 February 1819. He married on 27 March 1845 Ann M. Terry, who had been born on 25 July 1826, daughter of Isaiah Terry and Mary Woodhull, of Wading River. Her parents had been married on 16 December 1803 by Rev. 1.2.1.4 Jacob Corwin.
Their family was at page 318 of the 1850 census of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, as:
616/663 Chas Corwin 28 Carpenter b. New York
Ann M. Corwin 25 b. New York
Mary Corwin 4 b. New York
Lousanna Corwin 1 b. New York
