Abstract of Will, Vol #1, page 222
CORWINE, George of lower Portsmouth, Ohio
Dated: 11 June, 1852
Mentions:
George and John Corwine, sons of Brother Samuel Corwine
Richard, Benjamin, Aaron B., Jackson, William A., Cass and John, sons of Brother Amos Corwine
Jesse, son of brother Richard Corwine
Appoints as Executor:
George, Aaron B. and Jesse

It is my understanding that George Corwine b. 1780 NJ m. Elizabeth Wilson in Mason Co. KY 17 May 1800. They had no children and from the will Elizabeth died before George.

I am researching George Corwin b. 1817 (1850 census) and married 28 Nov 1844 Pike Co. OH to Lydia McCollister. In 1850 they were in Piketon, Seal Twp. Pike Co. OH. George was a clerk of the court.
Two children, Charles W. b. 1847 and Sarah b. 1849.
In 1880 census Charles and Sarah are in Mineral, Jasper Co. MO.
There is a lot of misinformation on the 7th Day Adventist site giving more children and wrong birth locations for George & Lydia Corwin.

I simply would like to know if George b. 1817 is the son of Samuel & Mary Wilson and the George Corwin mention in the above referenced Will.
Thank you
Patricia Condon Garrett

Also this is the only reference I have found to a brother Richard and his son Jesse.
