The Corwin Genealogy lists this marriage on P.81. George was the son of Samuel, who was the son of Samuel who was the son of Bartholomew, the son of the Sheriff of Salem who hanged the witches! Samuel(4) is on P.195

Samuel m. Rachel Newman, 26 Dec. 1786 and had the following ch: Sarah, Abigail, William, Hannah, Alice, Rebecca, Richard, Samuel D., and George
