It is hard to know what sort of Morris Corwin you might be looking for, but since you express some interest in SW Pennsylvania this may be of interest:
In 44 NYGBR (1953), 113: Mary Smock, born 4 January 1791, married Morris Corwin. (Old & New Monongahela, 1893, p. 448). The Smocks moved from New Jersey to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
That couple may have been the parents of the Morris Corwin in whom you are interested.
