According to page 155 of E. T. Corwin's 1872 genealogy, which is not always accurate, the Mary Corwin who married Elisha Ingraham and lived in Jerusalem, NY, was a daughter of his 30 John Corwin, born in 1786 in Essex County, New Jersey, and his first wife, Elizabeth French, whom he married in 1807. There is further biographical information there, and the line is carried back to the immigrant Matthias through John's father Stephen, but my own research has shown that E. T. Corwin's information concerning Stephen's marriages is not correct.
