Hello,
My 5th great-grandfather was Samuel Corwin. He and his wife (unkonwn) had a daughter, Susan whom married John S. Ames. I have only recently started my search of my Corwin ancestry. John and Susan are buried at the Hartland Ridge cemetery, Huron County, Ohio. Headstone information give John S. Ames as died March 16, 1852, aged 54 years, 10 months, & 3 days. Susan (Corwin) Ames as aged 50 years at death. Together they had a son, Oliver T. Ames, born about 1831, married 4 May 1850, Huron County, to Martha E. Baker.
I saw this listing and wondered if by chance Samuel Baldwin Corwin might be my Samuel Corwin. The Ames family name also made me curious if this might be my lines.
I would be very appreciative if anyone would be able to help me, thank you very much for your consideration.

P.S. I am going to post this same message on the main board in hopes that someone might have information to share.
