Ken,

I have Jemima listed in Edward Tandore Corwin's CORWIN GENEALOGY, page 109:

1 JEMIMA,(5) (Jesse,2), b. April 2th, 1765, d. January 18th 1845.
M. Amoth Thatcher, in Kentucky, 1788. He was b. 1752, d. June 25th, 1834, in Darke Co. Ohio.
Ch. Jesse, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, Elijah, William, Sarah, Hannah, Alexander, Lydia, Lucinda, David.
Removed to Bourbon or Campbell Co., Ky., 1785; to Lebanon, Ohio, 1798; to Preble Co., O., 1830. After his death, the widow removed to Frankfort, Indiana, where she died. Mr. T. was eccentric, enjoying fun very much. He was also a Revolutionary soldier, and in many engagements, but was never injured. The children live near Frankford, Indiana.

The no. 1 before Jemima's name indicates that she is the first Jemima in ET Corwin's Book in the Christian names. He listed all the CORWINs by their Christian names rather than their family branch. It makes for very easy look ups if you don't know what branch your ancestor came from:) The next number after Jemima's name (6) indicates the generation she belongs to in relation to the immigrant ancestor, Matthias CORWIN of Ipswich, MA and Long Island, NY. The (Jesse,2) indicated her parentage and his subsequent listing in the book (so Jesse, 2 is the second Jesse listed in the CORWIN Genealogy book).

That is all he wrote:) I am also descended from Jesse and Kesiah (CASE) CORWIN. My ancestor was Matthias CORWIN who married Patience HALLECK. I would like to hear where you found the possible parentage of Kesiah:)
I have a photocopy of a mourning silk that was embroidered by Kesiah's granddaughter Elvira CORWIN(d/o Icabod and Hannah) at the death of her Aunt Patience CORWIN. The silk commemorates both Kesiah and Patience. The original is held by the Warren Co. Historical Society.

Hope this helps:)
