You probably know about as much as I know about my family. I do know that they were originally from George West, Oakville, Three Rivers, Beeville, TX areas. My dad Erasmo (Eddie Cortez) lives in Beeville, and my grand-father, Frank Cortez lives in Beeville. My great-grandfather lived in Oakville or George West his name was Hernan Cortez (I remember going to his funeral when I was about 15 years old, my great- great grandfather's name was Gregorio Cortez. I don't know much more...
I still have a lot of family members that live in that area.
