More info on this line if it can be connected.Peter worked as a carpenter on the steamships.His children: Polly married Bela Grimes, who also worked the boatyards and was the town constable.They had 5 children - Elizabeth, Samantha, Ephraim, Isaac, and Mary.The Grimes family stayed in the Elizabeth area.Daughter Jane married Thomas Brant.Daughter Nancy married George Cunningham.Daughter Catharine married Joseph Hamilton.Son Benjamin married Christina Rhodes and moved to nearby Reynoldton in 1849; worked in banking and shipping; had seven children - Isaac, Benjamin B., Frederick, John, Mary (married Dorsey Downey), David and James; in later life married Lydia Hull Norton. Their son Benjamin B. Coursin worked in printing, coal mine operations, and steamboat engineer; married Sarah Lewis in 1859; and had 7 childrn - Virginia, Benjamin, Edward, Charles, Blanche, Clyde, and Nellie.
