My CORSO family started out in Termini Imerese.Greatgreat grandfather was Salvatore Corso(date of birth unknown) who married Guiseppina (born 1854 or 55)SANSONE.They had 6 children, all born in Termini. The oldest son Ignazio (born 1882), daughters Rosa (1879), Augustine (1884), Salvatore (1888), Sara (1891 or 92) and Lena.
They made their home in St. Louis, MO.Oral history has said that they came when daughter Rosa (my great grandmother) was 12, which would have been 1891.I have not found them on a ship as of yet. When I found Rosa on the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census she gives 1894 as the year of arrival.
