My Corsbies came from Ulster N. Ireland.
Hance Corsbie husband of Ann McDill.
the family setled in NC then went to Franklin county Alabama.
Frankun was split to form Colbert for some reason the ones who stayed in Franklin kept the spelling of the name but those in Colbert changed it to Corsby.
My James Corsby moved to Paris Texas than to Choctaw co. Oklahoma
So there is a good chance of our being related.
