I am researching these families:Wm Greer Sr(1754-1821)b in PA; lived in then Rowan, now Iredell Co. NC; moved to GA in 1768. Married abt 1784 to Sarah ?corry?. she b. 1766, d. 1820. They died in Greene Co. GA. Children:1)Jane Greer (1785-1867)m. 1810 William Corry (1778-1839)son of Alexander and Jane Corry. Children of Wm & Jane Corry:Nancy Greer Corry, b. 1811, m Isaac M. Guice. 2)John Corry lived in Hart Co. GA. 3)William Alexander Corry, (1817-1878)m. Martha Moore Bunkley, and also Mary Mathilda Stephens. I am descended from the dau of Wm Greer Sr. and wife Sarah __; who was Sarah (Sally)Greer b. 1793, m. Felix Simonton. Was Sarah __, the wife of Wm Greer Sr, a Corry or a Stephens, the dau of John Stephens? How was she related to the Corrys and the Stephens who married into their family? I have alot of material on the Simontons. Thanks....
