my name Alistair John Corry born in Grays Essex 1946 son of John Corry (Born Newcastle uk religion P)Mother Monica Martin (Born Sunderland uk religion C)Grand parents on my fathers side moved to Newcastle from Carlise never really knew them only saw my fathers mother when attended funeral of his father (I was about 8) (my father died in Essex when I was around 8 years old 57 now)and my mother and I moved back to Sunderland. not a lot of love lost between families it would seem being P & C religion all lost on me of course being so young at the time I do know from my mother that there where girls in the Corry family from thae Newcastle side but no boys.My fathers brother was killed in the war. very skimpy details but who knows it may hit a cord some where.
