Have a little more info...
James Corrie born about 1871 had a brother Frank Corrie. They had neighboring land parcels in LaSalle Co, IL.
However, I looked at the 1880 census in Jefferson co. IN, thanks to a tip, and found George and Mary Corrie with a number of children including what appears to be:
Elzah? age 18?, Margaret age 14, Ulysses age 12, James M age 9, Franklin age 5 and John W age ?/12 (baby). AND after George and Mary was listed a James Corrie and wife Mary (C.?) and 4 children and James or Mary's mother,
Nora? age 10, can't read others but they are all girls, mothers name is pretty unreadable, she is age 75. Daughters appear to range from age 10 down to 5. The fathers are born in IN, but their parents are born in Scotland.
Also, cemetery records are on that site, Sharon Hill, section a and b...
have Laura, Grace, James and his wife Lizzie(Mary?), two infants, then Ulysses, George H and Mary, and Eliza.
