Do you know of a James Corrie that had a son by the name of (Alexander some say his name was Elick) he had several brothers and sisters. His brother John and himself married sisters Elizabeth and Mary Kinkaid. On his naturlizatinon papers it says "bearing allegiance to the Queen of Great Breitian and emigrated from Dumfnies on the 10 day of April AD 1821 " I'm trying to find out about James. It looks like he married Jane Parks after they came to the US.
Do you know who James Corrie parents was???
