My ggggrandfather was Christian Correll. He spent time in Canada from the mid 1820s to the mid 1830s. His oldest daughter was named Mary, but she would have been too young to be married at that time. Three of his children (Henry, Christian, and John)were born there. They came to Indiana in the mid 1830s. His first wife is rumored to have been Native American, but there is no record of her once they returned to Indiana. Could the Corrells you are looking for be related to them?
