I would like to know more about your line. I descend from Jacob Correll of Cold Water Creek, Rowan Co., NC, through his son John Correll (m. Elizabeth Castor). Jacob came from Berks Co., PA and appeared in Rowan Co about 1794 and was brother to Philip Correll, a Rev. War pensioner from Berks Co., PA. There was a Jacob Correll in Rowan Co., NC on Dutch Buffelow Creek by 1780, but it is not clear that he was the same Jacob as mine on nearby Cold Water Creek.
