I live in Charlotte, NC. There are 2 Correll Families in NC. One is based in Lenoir, NC and the other is based in the area of Cabarrus County and Rowan County. From what I have been able to find out, they were 2 brothers that came over from Germany and settled in NC. One settled in Rowan County and one settled in the Foot Hills of NC ( Hudson, NC) which is near Lenoir, NC. My Grandfather is Charles Wade Correll. He is of the Corrells in Hudson.
