Searching for my grandfather Manuel Corey(as on Birth Cert.) b. 1887-1895 in the Azores(on birth cert). His real name was more than likely Manoel Correio/Correia. He was living on TOCKWOTTEN St, in Providence, RI. in 1910. My grandmother also lived on the same street. Belief is that they were not married as grandmother married another man in 1913. My mother was born in Nov. 1910 in Providence, RI.
Manuel was living with Joseph and Frank Corey at 108 Tockwotten St. Anyone with knowlege of Manuel or these other 2 Corey's please contact me. I need to know if this is my grandfather and what happened to him.
My mother never knew her father and grandmother never would tell anything about him. Both have been deceased since the early 1960's so I have no one to help me solve this puzzle.
Please someone help, I can not do a family tree if I can not get past my grandparents.
