I don't know if this will help. My husband's family did come from the Azores, probably at the turn of the century give or take 10 years. Anthony Correia had 10 children. The Gonsalves family also came over from the Azores if I am not mistaken. I know the Gonsalves family had 2 sisters that married 2 brothers (Correias) they all settled in and around Tulare County, California. If you think this might be a link I have a lot of research I have done and a lot still to do, but I can look up more information if you think this might be a connection!
