Actually it's not that common. Not even close to others like Oliveira, Varela, Pinto. I live in Portugal and I don't listen to the name Correia that often. I believe the reason of this might be the high emigration rate that we suffered some decades ago. Which also explains the existence of Correia's in all the "New World". Notify Administrator about this message?
