Hello there, I am renewing my post for Guilhermino Correia. He was my grandfather, he was born on May 1, 1900 in Altares Angra, Portugal. I have never heard of this place, I thought he was born in Lisbon, but was told he went there later on. He died May 13th, 1962 in Merced Ca. I was told he went by many alias names. One was Guilherme Mendez Correa, with a hyphen over the e. Supposedly this was his name when he migrated to America. He also went by Guithermea Mendez Correia, Guilhermino Correia, William Correia, and his death certificate says George M. Correia, I was also told his middle name was Manuel. He arrived to SanFrancisco Dec. 15, 1921 to become a legal resident. His death certificate states that his parents names were Jose Mendez Correa and Jesmina Augusta and on another certificate, it states his parents as Jasmina Acosta and Joe Correa. I am sure getting confused with all these different names. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, please let me know. Guilhermino had 8 children.
