My great grandfather was Felipe Correa. His son Severiano was brother to my grandmother Esperanza Correa (she raised me). She married Apolonio Abrego and had 10 children (8 lived). Hipolito (Paul), Fela, Sophia, Roberto, Raul, Raquel (Nena), Rebecca, Ruben and Corina.

I am the daughter of Rebecca and Arturo Hinojosa.

There are some interesting stories about this family.

I went to Raymondville 2 years ago and visited the family plot in El Toro and took some pictures of the Correa's, Renaud's, Abrego's and other plots that are there. There's a lot of interesting things to learn in a cemetary, I have found out. The only bad part about this is that the person who knew all the history was my Tia Pia (Sophia) and at the time she had a stroke and could not speak. She passed away last year and now I don't think I can get any information from her.

But I have managed to learn a lot of things from my other uncles and aunts.

Let me know about your side.
