I just found this site and I am already very interested in finding about the Correa's, My grandfather was named Roque Correa, lived in Corpus Christi, but my mother says was originally in Raymondsville, his brother was named Donato Correa last known to have lived in Montana, but originally from the Valley area. If these names sound like they match on someones tree, please notify me. Both deceased now. I actually [ if I remember correctly ] am named after another brother of Roque and Donato, I will check for sure w/ my mother.
We were discussing family stuff this evening which took me to google, then here.
But my mother says she believes our family may have French, and Spain roots, and that there may have been a Pope in our Correa family, of course with the news of the "new" Pope this triggered our family roots conversation.
