Hi
RE: John Cornock DOB 1882
I have recently commenced researching my family tree.My grandfather was William Henry Cornock born on 12.11.1883 in Coleshill in the County of Warwick.I have a copy of his parent's marriage certificate - William Cornock and Sarah Cox married in the parish of St Andrews Bordesly on the 25.12.1879. He had a sister Annie dob 1881 and I think a sister called Eliza 18.1.1885.I also know he had a brother who I believe was killed in the war (I don't know which one).I have been unable to find any trace of him.It could have been the John you are following up - the year certainly fits in with the rest of the family. William Henry went to India sometime in the early 1900s and married an Anglo-Indian lady. They had 2 children Dorothea (who is my mother) and Lorna (who died at a very early age). His wife Nora also died shortly after their 2nd child (Lorna) was born.He remarried and had a son called John.
