I have a Lizzie Ethel Corning born about 1888, dau of Elvin Velorus Corning and Henrietta F Goodale. They lived in the Manchester, NH. Elvin was the brother of my great great grandfather, Sherburn Locke Corning. I don't know anything else about Lizzie Ethel, but I have two other siblings listed for her: Elsie Rozella Corning (1881) and Manford Elvin Corning (1885). If this is your Ethel, you have my sympathies :-), as Elvin's parents were Nathaniel Corning and Judith Giles. Nathaniel's father was Ebenezer Corning, but the trail goes pretty cold there. I have been unable to connect him into any Corning lineage, but I do have a theory that I have yet to disprove also. IF you would like nay more info on this Corning line, let me know!
