Hello Jean:
I have some info on Dr. Hanson Kelly Corning. He was a well known anatomist; received his medical degree in Switzerland and taught at the University of Basel; produced several textbooks - 'Topographical Anatomy' and 'Textbook of Embrology'. My records show him being born and dying in New York City. He married Sylvia Broom and they had one daughter Ursula, born 1902. The last I heard Ursula was still living.
Are you related to Leighton III? He has a lot of info on Hanson Kelly.
Mary Ann (Corning) Mitchell
