I have just read your message on the cornforth board,I am trying to place my cornforth line with a family who came from WEST DERBY LIVERPOOL.the 1881 census states they were living at "woodlands park" Timperley Cheshire England but they originally came from West Derby,liverpool I will list their names below ----- William holliday cornforth head age 54 birth place liverpool occupation cotton broker. Hannah c.wife age 54 b.p. liverpool thomas r. son unmarried 19 years b.p. stretchford lancs edith j.a. daughter age 16 b.p. chorlton cum hardy lancs mary.l. daughter age 15 b.p. " " " thomas huyton finlaw age 64 b.p. ormskirk lancs anne huyton minlaw age 78 b.p. liverpool lancs mary a, gordon servant age 25 b.p. aspataria cumberland maria herries servant age 17 b.p. crosby lancs. --------- I believe that my great granma (clara) married one of their sons (charles henry cornforth born about 1860) do you think that there is a connection, at the moment I am trying to find out my ggrans maiden name,hope you can help.
