I did not find Belle's parents; however, I did find a cemetery record at Knox Ridge Cemetery in Knox, Waldo Co., Maine....Edward J. Vose 1861-1935; Bell R., 1861-1897; Jennie W., his wife, 1877-1965; Jennie JOHNSON, wife of Fred N. Vose 1869-1906. As Bell Cornforth was born in Maine, she is quite probably from my line, as
they are ALL from Maine. I was unable to
locate THIS Belle, I did find Isabella Cornforth, born April 4, 1824 in
Unity, Waldo, Maine. Her parents were Richard and Priscilla Cornforth, who
are in my ancestral line. Is more Vose ancestry needed? I found several others in various Maine cemeteries and also and short lineage from Robert Vost 1600 to Col. Thomas Vose 1792.
