Re the Headstone of Thomas & Elizabeth,and the very bad erosion.
As Justine mentioned John's daughter, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that what I read as
and daughter Hannah, who died aged 1 year.. was actually,
......(Gr)and daughter Hannah who.....
As I said,the reading at the bottom of the stone was bad,and as the stone was probably erected after the death of Thomas rather than on the death of Elizabeth,memories of the baby's age, some 12+ years previously, may have become hazy.
