My great-grandfather was Wesley Paul Cornforth (he went by the name Paul) and he married Icyle Groves in Norwood, CO, 1921. His parents were Charles Wesley Cornforth and Gertrude Buell Lane. Charles and Gertrude married 7 Nov 1878, and records were found in both San Miguel Co., CO, and Dearborn, Indiana. As nearly as I can determine, Charles Wesley was the son of John Cornforth and Temperance Smith Powell (the second marriage for each. John and Temperance were married 15 Nov 1841 in Dearborn, Indiana. John Cornforth was born 10 Jan 1812 in Fryup, Danby, Yorkshire. This would seem to indicate that John was the son of Robert Cornforth and Jane Collier of Danby. I don't have a record to show it, but I do know that they had a son named John, and the years match up. I'm trying to find any other information that can expand or clarify that family tree. :-)
