The Longs were in Grayson County Virginia. I have Molly marrying Sam Long in 1811. I am direct female line to her and would like to trace backward (mtDNA T1). I was under the impression her mother was Judy Kanute but that is speculation and I can't even remember where I got that. The only thing for sure is Molly marrying Sam Long and having 10 children. Here's what I have:
