I am looking for information regarding James C. Cornett (b.1878?), father of John Allison Cornett (b.1906 d. 1976). He was married to Minnie Elizabeth Null, who remarried after his death and became Minnie McCloud (b. 1888 d. 1949). He is listed in the 1910 Census as "Calvern J. Cornett" in Atkins, Smyth Co. VA. According to Minnie McCloud's obit in 1949, her first husband was "James C. Cornett". It's a winding road, but SOMEONE must know the answer!
