Hi! If anyone can help me I will appreciate it greatly! I have only recently started doing family research. I have discovered that Linefork John Samuel Cornett b.1759 was my GGGG Grandfather, Hiram Cornett b.1798 d. Clay County KY my GGG Grandfather, Mary Polly Cornett b. 1825 d. Clay County KY m. Pallas Bowling b.1828 d Clay County is my GG Grandmother, Mary and Pallas' son Howell Bowling my G Grandfather, and Levi Bowling my Grandfather. I have some questions. Was Hiram's mother John Samuel's first wife, or was she Polly Ann Davidson? Who were Charity Rice's parents? Some places I have found that Roger Vader Cornett is Hiram's father, but I don't think that's the case. Thanks so much in advance for any help. As I said I only recently discovered this information, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a grand Eastern KY family!! One of my favorite places is Lily Cornett Woods, and I often thought it was so wonderful that he left this old growth forest untouched. Little did I know he was a distant cousin. No wonder I love that place, the place that John Samuel settled in when he ventured over the KY line from VA. It definitely has to be imprinted in my DNA somewhere. *laughs*
